Discipline
Rules
The college insists on a very high standard of
discipline among the students. Violation of discipline rules by the students is
duly punished. The punishment includes name struck off, fine, ban on issuing
the library books, even cancellation of admission in the light of the severity
of the case. The discipline rules are given below:-
- Every student of the
college has to attend at least 75% of the classes. Those who fail to secure
minimum attendance of 75% will not be allowed to appear for University
Examinations.
- Attendance in practical
classes will be compulsory otherwise they will not be allowed to appear for
Practical Examinations.
- Attendance in Unit
Tests/Assignments is compulsory.
- Every student is
supposed to keep their Identity Card in the premises of the college and produce
it as and when required by the Principal, teachers or any employee of the
college.
- Every student is
expected to observe silence in class. They are strictly prohibited to wander
about in college premises or any where during the period of class.
- Late comers will not
be allowed to attend the classes.
- Students are advised
to switch off their Mobile Phones or do it in flight mode in classes.
- Damage to the property
of the college will be severely dealt with and cost of repair and fine will be
recovered from the students concerned or =disciplinary action shall be
initiated against student. Thus, the college expects the students to take care
of the property of the college as their own goods.
- Students are prohibited
from doing acts which disturb the classes such as leaving the class before its
completion, chit-chating etc.
- Smoking,
chewing-tobacco, consumption of intoxicating liquors, narcotic drugs,
psychotropic substances or any prohibited substances in the college premises
are strictly prohibited, ,
- Every student has to
return the Library Books within time limit specified. Failure to return the
Books in time will invite fine.
- Every student has to
return all the Library Books to the Library before the commencement of the
University Examinations or at the time of obtaining “No Dues Certificate” from
the Office.
- Every student has to
follow rules and regulations of the Library Advisory Committee from time to time
or else severe punishment will be imposed.
- Students should use
the parking space provided for parking their vehicles, otherwise punishment
(including fine) will be imposed.
- The students are
expected to attend only those classes in which he / she is admitted, otherwise punishment
will be imposed.
- The students are not
expected to keep any dangerous or harmful weapons or material, etc. with them.
- It is the
responsibility of every candidate to submit genuine documents. Any attempt to
submit documents which are not genuine, will lead to cancellation of admission
of the candidate, forfeiture of fees, deposits and expulsion of the student
from the college.
- Violation of the
discipline of the college or irregularity in the college or violation of any
above mentioned rule by the students will be severely treated.
- Every student should
follow the instructions issued by the Department of Higher Education, Haryana /
affiliating University / College.
- The students are
expected to follow the above rules and regulations strictly else severe action
(including fine) will be taken against those who violate the above rules.
