Government College Aharwala (Bilaspur) Yamuna Nagar participated in the Nagar Kirtan dedicated to the 350th Martyrdom Day of Guru Shri Tegh Bahadur Ji on 19.11.2025. The event was organized under the able guidance of the College Principal, Prof. (Dr). Sarvjeet Kaur.
On this occasion, students were informed about the life and teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, who is honored as “Hind Ki Chadar” for his supreme sacrifice in safeguarding humanity and religious freedom. Guru Ji was a fearless warrior, scholar and poet who opposed injustice, discrimination, and social evils while promoting compassion and equality.
After the address all students and staff members of the College joined the Nagar Kirtan, which commenced from Kapal Mochan.
