Entrepreneurship Fortnight Activities at the College
Under the guidance of **Principal Prof. (Dr.) Sarvjeet Kaur**, the College successfully organized a series of activities under **Entrepreneurship Fortnight** through the joint efforts of the **Entrepreneurship Development Club, Department of Commerce, and Department of Economics**.
Encouraging students to participate enthusiastically, **Principal Prof. (Dr.) Sarvjeet Kaur** emphasized that competitions such as poster making, slogan writing, and essay writing are not merely contests but valuable opportunities to develop creativity, innovative thinking, and entrepreneurial skills. **Vice-Principal Dr. Ramesh Dhariwal** motivated students to believe in their ideas, embrace challenges, and learn from failures, while **Prof. Aarti Arora**, Head of the Department of Commerce, highlighted that entrepreneurship is about innovation, problem-solving, and transforming ideas into reality.
As part of the fortnight, the College organized an **Essay Writing Competition (24 August), Slogan Writing Competition (25 August), and Poster Making Competition (27 August)**. Students from various departments participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.

* **Essay Writing:** Namita & Rashi (M.Com) – First; Ishika (BCA) & Anu (B.Com) – Second; Paras (B.A.) & Vanshika (B.Com) – Third.
* **Slogan Writing:** Namita & Rashi (M.Com) – First; Mansi & Janvi (B.A.) – Second; Anshika (B.Com) & Ishika (BCA) – Third.
* **Poster Making:** Mansi (B.A.) & Nandini (B.Com) – First; Abhay & Srishti (B.Com) – Second; Palak & Mahak – Third.
The competitions were judged by distinguished faculty members from various departments, ensuring fair evaluation and encouraging excellence among participants.
The activities inspired students to think creatively, develop entrepreneurial skills, and explore innovative ideas, reinforcing the College's commitment to nurturing future entrepreneurs.
