The college celebrated International Labour Day with great enthusiasm, organized jointly by the Legal Literacy Cell and NSS Unit (National Service Scheme) to promote awareness about workers’ rights and dignity. The program was held under the inspiring guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Sarvjeet Kaur.
The Vice Principal of the College, Dr. Ramesh Kumar, delivered an insightful address highlighting the importance of labour rights and emphasizing that many of the rights enjoyed by workers today are the result of significant historical revolutions and struggles.
The event served as a reminder that “Labour is the foundation of progress and prosperity,” fostering respect and appreciation for the invaluable contribution of workers to society.
